Truly, O Theophilus, I made the first report as to all things that Jesus began both to do and teach until the day He was taken up, having given directions to the apostles whom He chose, through the Holy Spirit; to whom He also presented Himself living after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them through forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. And having met with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to await the promise of the Father which you heard from Me. For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.
(Act 1:1-5)

And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and no one else; and My people shall never be ashamed. And it shall be afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; your old men shall dream dreams; your young men shall see visions.
(Joe 2:27-28)

Let us learn to seek out Your Holy Spirit and allow You to fill us completely. May we learn the gifts You have given to us through the Holy Spirit, and let us use those gifts to build and strengthen Your Kingdom. Help us keep the fire of the Holy Spirit burning strongly within us and make us bold for You. Amen.
